About this position

As a Finance Operations Lead on the Health Informatics Protection and Privacy Orchestration (HIPPO) team you'll get into the details of our platform and help us drive innovation through platform enhancements, security and an approach to design that pushes the foundations of networking, security, informatics and user experience. You will provide financial leadership to the project by supporting efforts to meet current and long-term goals while defining financial strategies. Develops, maintains and/or supervises all financial-related activities including payroll, purchasing, property management, cash disbursements and receipts, accounts receivable and financial statements; prepares federal and other grant budgets and financial status reports; maintains statistical systems; assists in the administration of the project as may be necessary.

  • Member of the senior management team and is responsible for the execution of its strategic and tactical plans
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Asset/liability management
  • Development of risk management, investment, and pricing strategies
  • Assist the CEO in the development and execution of short and long-term strategic planning, to include the development, measurement and reporting of key financial metrics
  • Develops and oversees a high-performing finance team
  • Assessing and growing a financial infrastructure to drive operational excellence in all areas related to the finance function
  • Manages the treasury function for the company, ensuring efficient access to capital and the optimization of the company’s balance sheet and its overall cost of capital regulations, procedures and other nationalized benefit plans.
  • Conversant with collection practices and laws.
  • Comprehensive understanding of CPT and ICD coding systems.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret government regulations specific to the health care industry.
  • Ability to direct and monitor the work of other staff.
  • Strong computer skills, especially related to spreadsheet software and accounting packages.
  • Excellent leadership planning and organizational skills.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to interact with and present financial information to multiple stakeholders and audiences.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a high degree of professionalism.

Your Experience

  • Proven experience in corporate finance, preferably with a financial institution or mortgage lender, as a CFO, finance officer, controller, or other relevant role
  • Ascending career in financial oversight, control and management, as well as overall strategic design and execution;
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • CPA credential is desired.
  • Prefer at least three years senior management experience.
  • Prefer ambulatory or hospital care administration experience including familiarity with CPT & RVU coding systems, Medicare FQHC cost reporting and insurance carrier regulations.
  • Grant writing background and experience helpful.
