Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer on the Health Informatics Protection and Privacy Orchestration (HIPPO) team you'll get into the details of our platform and help us drive innovation through platform enhancements, security and an approach to design that pushes the foundations of networking, security and informatics.

• Building highly reliable data services to integrate with our blockchain technology
• Help design and create ETL pipelines that transform and process petabytes of structured and unstructured data in real-time, ultimately helping healthcare providers and administration teams pursue better medical outcomes
• Designing data models for optimal storage and retrieval to support low latency for querying blockchain data
• Working cross-functionally with data scientists, backend engineers and product managers to design and implement new data models to support the solution
• Engineer, implement, and maintain information system security controls and countermeasures

Your Experience

• Knowledge of crypto currency, FX or capital markets;
• Experience implementing and monitoring security information systems;
• Experience with Linux platforms;
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach;
• Experience with vulnerability research and penetration testing;
• Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, etc.;
• Educated and versed in the latest threat actors, techniques, and incident lifecycle.
